WHAT: Multifactored Psychoeducational Assessment and
Writing a SMART Individualized Education Plan

OVERVIEW:
Assessment done right increases achievement, cultivates hope, and builds in all learners. Collaborate with the experts,and learn how to unleash the power of assessment in your classroom, school, or school district.
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the two (2) day seminar-workshops, the participants will:
1.) There are many factors that affect a student’s performance in
school. Low grades or disruptive behavior can be the visible
signs of hidden challenges;
2.) Develop knowledge about the rights of the child with special
needs in an inclusive education program;
3.) A Multifactored Psychoeducational Assessment identifies
areas of strength and weakness in a student’s learning
profile, and provides a deeper understanding of their
abilities;
4.) It can also identify Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD), Developmental Disabilities, reading (dyslexia),
writing (dysgraphia) and mathematic (dyscalculia) challenges
and other mental health issues (depression or anxiety) that
can interfere with learning;
5.) Gain understanding in the relevance of comprehensive
assessment process to be translated into SMART IEP;
6.) This workshop will focus on the administration of a
Multifactored Psychoeducational Assessment & Writing a
S.M.A.R.T. IEP.
